Curious what you gain by going to larger cam bore/ larger lifter holes?

Larger lifter bores will let you run a more aggressive lobe profile in solid cams, and with a roller, larger lifter bores also let you run the rebuildable type roller lifter...

Bigger base circle cam makes for much better valve control, less spring cause of a more rounder nose.

.904 lifters have a biiger body, bigger wheel and bigger axel that being said makes for a much more dependable lifter over a .842 lifter. Going from an .750 wheel to an .810 you won't see tracking like an .842 lifter leaves on the lobe.

80% of the blocks I machine now all are .904 lifters and bigger cam cores!!!!
