advice on building 434ci motor

i wanting to build a 434ci motor i have a new bowtie block im using a eagle 4340 crank and their h-bean 4" stroke rods with the je forged 3cc domes coated clevite h bearings. and im using a set of 60cc combustion dart iron eagle 215cc heads gives me right around 14.1 with my small dome. and crower told me to use the cam http://www.crower.com/chevy-262-400-...rcle-4168.html. i dont have the heads ported or anything i figure i can do that mabe next winter. is that a good combo i run a 1/4 dirt track in my super stock. what kinda of power am i looking at ?

If it was mine I wouldn't spend the extra $ on the coated bearings, not needed, and unless you have a set of Hx bearings on hand you must likely will NOT have enough bearing clearnace. The Dur. @ .050 seems pretty big on that cam, would think that some where in the mid to high 260* range would be more suited. The heads are your biggest down fall, 230's would be alot better with the big cubes. I would say you are in the 600hp area though. If you don't have rockers I would get higher ratio rockers and a cam to match. How hard due you plan on turning it RPM wise?

i dont turn over 7200rpm with a 700 gear i use the exra clearnace rod and main bearings
