    what pulleys to run

    I have a hobby stock with a little over stock engine i need to order a set of pulleys i was just needing some input on weather to use 1 to1 pulleys or 30 percent reduction pulleys i dont turn many rpms thanks for any info

    What water pump? Most stock start to loose flow over 4500-5000 rpm, Aftermarket units are closer to 6000. Base your engine RPM in the pulley set to keep the pump optimum. If you are turning under 7000 rpm I would use a 1:1 and a good fan/radiator/schroud combo.

      Unless you are planning on turning over 8000 RPM, you need the 1-1 pulley setup.
      Curious that we spend more time congratulating people who have succeeded than encouraging people who have not.
