How much mpg?

Closest for me is 48 miles Sat, next is 55 Fri, 68 Fri, 84 Wed , 96 Sun.

There are about 25 tracks within 3 hours, wed, fri, sat, sun multiple choices.

I usually race 3 hours or more from home at special events only. The local weekly tracks have the same 10-14 cars weekly.

Must be nice.

Last year it was 400, 650, 800, and 1000 to Twin Falls ID. One way....

you can buy a lot of gas before you get to the 20k you would spend for a decent used diesel dually.

We'll see how it goes. Im a pretty good gas saver. Going to tow at 55 and hit the hills right.

I buy my vehicles with cash only. And just dont have that right now anyway.

Yeah those arent weekly races. One was a 200 lap, one a 150 most 100-125 lap mains.

Though some tracks have 20+ for weekly shows

Are you talking about Magic Valley? I lived in Spokane for 10 years but never made it down there. They said that track was a duplicate of Stateline Speedway.

Yeah. It was a Rocky Mountain Challenge Series race. Jonathon Gomez won. It did look like Stateline. But better imo.

Another was the Idaho 200.

And won one at Hermiston....

I was the crew chief for John Gamble when he won the 2nd Idaho 200 held hes the only non big name big toter person to ever win it.. In a home built stock clip car with the same set up as my street stock!

I also raced myself at Wenatchee 200 fast time, qualified 2nd at yakima fall classic first time there won the trophy dash. good times back in the day on pavement.

Pavement super late models are a bargain compared to racing a dirt car around here. Other than tires of course for the big shows. The local shows have tire rules now up there.

Kevin Richards won it this year and Dave Garber had the fastest car till he starting banging wheels. Both natives you might remember, also both bigsprings.

Actually MVS had the best layout of any track Ive seen (except for pit entrance, exit) The pits were right next to the stands. In fact all that seperated the stands from the spotter stands was a fence. It was nice being able to go to the main concessions during the race from the pits and I bet it was cool for the fans to see what goes on in the pits during the race.

Yes I raced with Dave Garber regularly before I moved to Iowa.. Kevin Richards was 3rd in the Id 200 we won I think.

We past Grosgeitz on the last lap, he won it the first year. He won the winter heat series in Arizona a few years before that and was offered truck rides etc and turned them down.
