alky fuel pump

What would you recommend for a fuel pump on an alcohol modified? We were running a six valve Barry Grant, and didnt have any trouble, but its time to replace it. Have heard more bad than good bout the piston type pumps, but not sure if it depends on the brand or what. Belt drive or rear mount isnt out of the question if it is worth the extra cost. Looking for suggestions, Thanks.
