    Another crank thread

    Ok, so how would you define, "stock type aftermarket cranks allowed."

    This is for a limited sprint application.

    eagle summit scat speedway all has a cast nodule iron cranks new for bout 175 bucks,...sounds like what thay saying,..is there a stroke rule?? if not its just as cheap to build a stroker as a stocker

      No stroke rule, but 360 +/- 1% ci rule. I've never seen them pull a pan inspection plug in 5 years. And we've been protested a few times. They check springs, stacks, fuel, and pump it.

      There is a stack diameter rule, and comp 982 spring rule. With that spring, and the stack at 1-7/8", I could put in a $5000 crank and it would do me no good. Why the crank rule in your opinion?
