I agree with him. If pressure stays steady check your float levels.Crew Chief "Tip of the day":
Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

I have had quite a few carbs do this. The fix is, take a piece of tubing and connect the float bowl tubes together. Cut a hole in the tube in the center on top of it and zip tie it to the air cleaner stud. If your float level is correct and verified and it was pulling over out of the tubes then this will fix it.

its a 14:5.1 355ci .645 lift roller cam light crank and rods. doesnt make its peak power too about 7500rpms its really strong down the straight away justs pulls awayOriginally posted by Living_TruthAgree with C10, sounds like it's getting too much fuel. You might also go to a smaller accelerator pump up front, or tighten up the adjustor on the arm so it squirts a little later. 850 is a big carb, what size motor are you running under that monster?

Sounds like floats to high possibly, causeing the boosters to drible or fuel spewing out of the vent tubes. Check float level, set to just below the sight plug and see if that helps. Check and see if you carb has the white plastic vent whistles installed in the bowl area, they will be at the very top of the main body when you pull the bowl off.Josh K.
