changing from gas to alky

i have a bladder type fuel cell and im changing from gas to alky.can i use my existing fuel cell or do i have to get a new cell ? can i just change the foam ? thanks for any help.

You're right to be concerned , race fuel cells are not necessarily compatible with alcohol ( methanol or ethanol ) so the best thing to do is check with the company that made your cell . Some only require a change in foam , some require an alcohol compatible cell . Whatever you do , don't let anyone talk you out of using the foam . It's there for a very good reason .
