    Car sitting...

Im not going to be running a normal schedule mainly once a month or less...

Would it be better to back off the rockers in between races or to just fire it up and get it up to temp and shut down?

In the past I havent gone more then 3 weeks between races and the normal was 2...

    Thanks,
    Danny

If you're worried about the coil springs taking a "set" I wouldn't for 3-4 weeks, but if you just want to turn the engine over so the same springs are not closed, it won't hurt anything...IMO

danny, if you are going to crank it over then you might as well start it. crank it until you have pressure then turn on the igition. run it up to temp and then run it for an extra 45mims or so. this brings the engine block, heads, coolant, and oil up to normal. total time is about an hour or so every 2 or 3 weeks.
