SBC Rear Main Seal Fit?

When checking the fit of Rear Main Seal in housing bore, what does most builders do to correct the over crush of the seal halves that causes seal to not be concentric to the bore and will most likely leak?

Are you using a Fel-Pro 2900? 400 mains or 350? There shouldn't be that much crush unless you have a 2909 seal on a 350 main.
