    Looking for combo's for a Factory Stock Motor

    I'm looking for a good combo for a Factory Stock Motor.

    Here are the rules:

    20. Engine maximum cubic inch no high performance equipment GM 360, (350 block 3.48 stroke) Ford 361 (351W block with 3.5 stroke) Mopar 370 (360 block 3.4 stroke) NO Stroker Motors. No Roller Cams ALLOWED. Hydraulic Cams ONLY. Flat or Dish pistons only. NO DOME PISTONS.
    21. Must run OEM camshafts, with stock lift of .283 at Lobe. No aftermarket cams allowed. These will be checked at the pushrod. Stamped Steel arms only. 1.6 rocker ratio MAX. NO roller tip.
    22. Stock cast iron QJ 4 barrel manifold with QJ carburetor 650 Holley or 650 spread bore Holley carburetors maximum or 4412 2-barrel Holley Carburetor .NO DOUBLE PUMPERS! Must remain stock, complete with choke. Maximum 1” adaptor plate for Holley carburetor only. NO DUEL LINES ALLOWED. NO Marine type intakes allowed.
    a. Secondary must open with vacuum only. No linkage to secondary. With car off secondary must not open.
    b. No rear squirters.
    c. Rear metering block is ok.
    23. Must use OEM type distributor, mechanical timing advance must be in working order. Vacuum advance optional. No super coils.
    24. Aluminum radiators ok. Aluminum water pumps and crank pulley ok.
    25. Must run stock cast iron exhaust manifolds with 2” maximum tailpipes extending past the drivers compartment. Mufflers optional. No type of Ram Horn manifolds. No LT 1 Manifolds.
    26. No Vortec or Closed Chamber heads. No fuel injected or high-speed performance heads (Ford GT40 heads are OK). No double hump or power pack heads. No 041 casting heads. Fords must run casting number D7 or newer heads. No SVO or Closed Chamber heads allowed. NO porting or grinding of any kind. Stock type Z28 valve springs.
    27. Pump gas or Racing fuel only. No additives or alcohol.

      They don't allow Strut cars so the fords get screwed in the end.

          .060 over 350 with flat tops.
          GM cam # 12353915 (preferred) or 3896929(Old 300hp 327 camshaft) both pass lobe lift rule
          1.6 rockers on the intake
          487 or 487X heads angle milled to get the compression up
          Holley 650 with metering block

            Ford guys should be foaming at the mouth with these rules. Even if you mill down the 487's.....it won't come close to a 351w with GT heads. Those heads start around 60cc's and you can mill them down farther than that. Not too mention they will outflow any stock GM casting.

            Sure would like to watch the arguements in the tech area.

              that was my thoughts,..if thay allowing the gt-40 heads thay should let yall run the bow-tie heads!!!
