Bow Tie Sportsman blocks tips????

Just recieved a new iron 12480047 GM bow tie block. Never had one before, all stock blocks in the past. Anyone have any pointers for assembling? Quirks that would be nice knowing now? We use solid mechanical flat tappet cams, and normally use oil restrictors (using existing 1/4NPT) in the back of the block. That still the case with this block? Usually put vent tubes in the liffer valley as well. Any other oiling issues or cooling? Thanks in advance!

Besure to check line bore for size, and lifter bores for clearance. Alot of guys have gotten away from using restrictors, oil to the valve springs is a good thing.
