    reading spark plugs

    i tore down my car this yesterday and today to go threw it, i noticed my spark plugs had black up like 5 to 6 threads... what does that mean and if im not mistaking shouldnt it only be 2 to 3 threads?
    please correct me if im wrong and like always thanks for the help

      Sounds like the reach on your plugs is wrong for your heads. A lot more info is needed though.
