Setting up a motor in a metric

Some help please i am putting in a engine in a metric chassis street stock what degree of tilt should the motor be set at should I use tall motor mounts or short ones motor needs to be in stock location don't what to put anything in a bind thanks dave

With the tall mounts you would be raising the cars center of gravity even higher
presuming a street stock
I would use the lower ones

Tilt /angle unless you are running a track like Slinger WI.
I'd put it level

need to be thinking drive line angle,...how motor is mounted in relation to drive shaft an rear end all comes into play... in your rules "stock location" is bout engine set back,..not its height or pitch!!

Thank you for info just thought motor should have some angle and tilt degree for weight transfer and corner dive

High as you can. Set the mounts with the intake, carb and air filter on the motor. The hood sits low to the cross member on these cars. If you can put a hole in the hood; watch the header clearance also.
