Crankshaft Identification

I have a known Callies Crankshft, it been mine for years and is the same serial number that was pulled from the original box. The only thing on the crankshaft is a serial number and stroke. No where on the crank doesn it say Callies. How do you id the crankshaft manufacturer and model when looking to buy a new motor from someone else? How do you ID the crankshaft to ensure you're getting the advertised Magnum XL versus a Compstar or another manufacturer all together?

The Callies Magnum XL counterweights look like no other counterweights,even other Callies crankshaft counterweights.In fact you can go to Callies website and see how different the XL counterweights are.

Is there a way to tell a difference from a compstar to a dragonslayer or even an Eagle or Scat crank? I'm looking at motor and trying to figure out how to determine if the crank is what is advertised. Thanks for any and all input.
