    350 to 400 cooling

im in the process of switching over from a 350 to a 400, with the 350 i have been running a 17x28 afco double pass with a good shroud, 1:1 pulleys and a 60 dollar water pump from speedway. this combo has worked well for me, however i am wondering if i will need to abandon the small radiator infavor of a 19x31 radiator to keep it cool? and what water pump and pulleys should i run? are the stewart stage 3 worth the extra 100 dollars over the afco water pumps? thanx for any help on this subject guys.

forgot to mention some things, these engines run on 110 not methanol, or e85, 350 is a 13:1 and the 400 is a 12:1 stock block.

Current setup working on the 350 should be fine on the 400. A good Stewart pump should be mandatory for any engine making over 350hp. That's my opinion. Spend your money on the pump.

thanx for the help, i was under the impression that 400 blocks tend to run hotter then a 350 block, should i keep the 1:1 set up? or go with a reduction?

Stewart pump, 1:1 pulleys and no restrictor.
          It'll be fine

The center cylinders on 400's run a little hotter than the others. I have seen some engine builders run water lines to the center of the heads.
