compstar is an import forging, made to callies specs, machined in USA. The best import cranks out there. Dragon slayer is the next step up, different heat treating than the magnum cranks, magnums being one of the best. if you have the extra money go for the Dragon slayer, if not the compstar will work fine. I sell alot of each one.

I have used both with zero problems, The D/S and the Magnum cranks are made out of the same material but are machined different.

The D/S would be your best bet.

The Comptar Comet cranks, are alot lighter then the D/S, and the sizing is spot on. Between, Competition Products, Race Enginering, Cambell enterprises, you can usually find a deal. Don't waste your money having them balance it for you, get it balanced at a reputable shop yourself.
