Recently I saw an ad for a company in Colorado that will break-in your cam & lifters on a machine. Has anyone else tried this and what kind of an experience was it for you? How many other places do this type of service? Thanks in advance for your advice.

As Terry mentioned unless they use your block, they wouldn't be truly broken in properly. I would pull the inner springs if the pressure is over 120 on the seat or run a low ratio (1.3 or so) rocker and use a Break in oil or B/I additive. And perform breakin as suggested, making sure that the engine is able to fire at the push of the button, no cranking to get oil pressure or fuel to the carb (fill through the vents), timing is set as closely as possible etc...Josh K.
