    Cam and Lifter Question

    I need some help I really know nothing about the top end I'm going to run a 355 6in rod Vortech heads Eldelbrock performer intake and a 750 demon carb I run a 3,000 pound factory stock 10in wheels racing rubber probably going to run 6.83 rear gear want to be between 6500-6800 rpm I run a small 1/4 short stop and go track I want to know what kind of cams and lifter and valve springs I should run anything will help thanks

    Nothing to big

    I run very simular combo and track my cam is just a comp XS282 and it works great up to 7000rpm

    There are better cam choices than mine for circle track (just a Street/strip cam) but I wouldnt recomend anything over 245@50 IMHO

      never liked a box cam.we have every thing built. call comp tell them what you have they will grind you something that you will be more happy with. cost a little more but well worth it.
