Do you have to run a "non air gap" intake or is it just preference?
    It'll be fine

I have ran a brodix hv 1016. It is a dual plane non air gap. Don't know any dyno #'s but it performed well for me.
        It'll be fine

The Weiand XX16 intake is a good one if you don't want the dropped center. You need plenty of carb with those divided intakes.
