Have a friend who is in need of a standard spline bert tail housing. Output shaft not needed, but housing needs to be good in bushing & seal area. Thx in advance.

how bad is his damaged? I've repaired a few that at first clance looked to be junk. -
Seal area has a big chunk broke out about 1/3 of the total diameter, and you can push the bushing in by hand. I'm guessing some kind of sleeve could fix the bushing, but doubt it will ever hold a seal.Comment

if you can;t find one soon send it to me and I'll repair it. that is a repair I do quit often now guys want ther lr jacked up and forget the yoke is moving forward in to the trany or under hard braking the yoke is pulled out of the trany. I bore the bushing area out to 2 inch dia make a step bushing starting with 3 od aluminum bar stock and turn one end down to press in the 2 inch hole and bore the id to hold the bushing and the rear seal. once welded in place this will last for years. I can do this for 200 plus shipping and if the tail shaft needs under cut for the longer yoke I'll throw that in for free to make sure the repair last.Comment
