midplate question

when installing mounts for mid-plate does the block need to be at a slight angle from front to back or does it need to be level ? thanks

I put mine in so when the car is at ride height (with rake in the chassis set) the trany is as close to level as possible you don't want the oil to run out the back or be at such an angle that the rear bushing runs dry. ONE DEGREE makes a big difference over the length of the trany/bell housing.
here's a photo of a modified chassis under way you can see in the photo the the mid plate is tilted back at the top. each chassis will be a little different due to the rake designed in the car.
