    push rod length

    If I mill my heads 50 thousands will I need to get a shorter push rod? Also will I have to do anything with my intake any help would be appreciated

    if you have checked the push rods and have the right one in now than i would go shorter. cutting the heads will raise the intake up on the runners if it was perfect before than you will have to cut it. but if it was low than you will not. the two things you asked about is something you would have to have checked before.

      Okay I don't know if the intake is up or down on the runners I have a mowtown block standard deck height with mowtown 23 degree heads with a mowtown air gap intake all 23 degree stuff I ran it al last year ue

        I would mock up the heads and intake before installing, you will want to cut the intake flange of the heads instead of cutting the intake itself. Never hurts to recheck rocker arm geometery, may not have had the proper lkength pushrods before if this wasn't checked.
