we have a 750 dp on our 383 stoker and while idling it will idle fine for a few minutes then just die. and sometimes fuel comes out of the vent at the top. but it runs fine during the race and the only problem is during idle.. this in the primaries that is doing it, adjusted float so fuel just comes out of the holes and the air bleeds are 2 turns out. the motor does not hesitate or anything.

okay the gauge says 11 pounds at an idle? i guess speedways 7psi fuel pump isnt a 7 psi pump after all. gonna try getting a regulator and hope it helps, thanks

yes you want to be 6-7 at idle generally. get a regulator
