    stripped rocker arm stud

I was replacing my rocker arm studs, and one of them I could torque to only 45 pounds. I put in a helicoil, but it didn't work either. any other things I can do to get this to torque to 60 lbs?

Use a time saver insert, its a full one piece thread repair insert and they hold great.

thanks for the suggestion C10. I've never heard of it - where would I get a time saver insert?

I get mine at Arnold Motor Supply, they have a machine shop in house, so I would say any place that has an in house should have them
