I am in need of a cam that can pull 18" at 1000rpm Does anyone make and off the shelf or do i need to have one custom ground? Any suggestions on a good place to make on if i do? Im running a 358 500cfm 4412, flat tops, 76cc heads completley stock, has to be hydraulic flat tappet cam and lifters.

Also on the engines we have build for vacume rules we run the dist. locked as you will create more vacume at max. advance. And we tend to stay with a single pattern cam as well.Comment

Keep the duration @.050 down below 235 and a 112 LC and you should be fine.
With good rings/V-max lifters/good carb spacer etc. you might be able to run a little more but this should be safe.Comment

HVH and Flow Design 1" both work well with the HVH being a little better all around I believeComment
