    oem heads

    whats the best heads to build on a 360 maxci.,sbc with 2 barrel carb.heads must be stock oem head.stamped steel rockers,carb must be unaltered,175 pounds max compression,only cam rule is no roller.

      Agree 100%, If you can not run Bowtie get regular 350 vortec heads.

          Triple R Performance Engines suggested a Isky 201CC1 solid lifter flat tappet for my motor this year.My motor was similar to yours and it had awsome low end and plenty of pull all the way down the straits on a 1/4 mile track.I had other problems ,but cam was excellent.Eddie

            if you run bigger than a .450 lift cam have machine valve spring pockets to prevent coil bind...

              You will have to cut them anyway. The factory spring does not use a damper and the spring base is a bigger diameter than the older heads.

              The Vortec is probably the best flowing but don't get it hot very many times. They crack very easily.

              If you need a set....let me know. I have a set of 062's at the shop.
