a local track is allowing the 602 in the ss class, would this motor be competitive against 410cu.in. open steel head/block motors? the 602 can run a 4 barrel and the open motors run a gauge legal holley 500 /2 barrel and cars are on emod tires.
if by open you mean any steel heads port work any intake compression ect then the 410 will KILL the 602. we raced that style of open motor against a 604 with a 4bbl and we waxed the 604 also.
