    Oil for saginaw 3 speed

    Was wondering what type/weight and proper amount to put in my gear box.

    75w90 gear oil, really any gear oil will work. Or if you want something lighter Joe Gibbs MTF.

      dexron 6 auto trans fluid. no need for thick stuff in a manual trans.

        I second stockcar5 that is all we run. Do not try it in the rearend to much heat generated there.

              Was told years ago only reason for heavy lubricants in a manual tranny was for noise reduction. I see no need for that in a race car.
