Falcon trans help

Did a basic rebuild for the first time. Went back together good but have one little spring left over and don't know where it goes. It's a cone shape spring I don't even see if on the exploded diagram of the trans part. Just asking for help it really seems like everything is in place and working correct. Please help

Im guessing it's the ball detent for shifter. It's the one on top that has a socket head set screw and locking bolt. There a spring and ball under it that sets the pressure needed to pull it out of gear. I set mine just tight enough not to jump out of gear.

Yeah i know what your talking about i got that spring in.

i dont think there are any cone shaped springs, i think all the springs are the same
