    pure stock 383 heads

    Guys I am putting together a 383 for my pure stock and was wondering what kind of difference going to the steel vortech chevy heads vs the double hump heads. I have neither now but am going to buy a set in the next few weeks.

              Vortec… just remember that all Chevy heads with the newer bolt pattern ARE NOT Vortec heads… Gen I's '96 to 2000 IIRC...
