    Rotating assy 400 chevy

Took assembly out of 400 chevy and put it in new 400 block with same cam, as we roll it over by hand with out pan or heads on it seems to hit the camshaft lobe in the back and if we roll it the other way it hits a lobe in the front, try a different cam and the same thing.i am not sure what it is.
    could use some help.
    Thank you

1 and 2 and 5 and 6 will more than likely need the rods clearanced for cam. I would double check the cam timing and if it's correct you will have to clearance the rods. Many rods with bolt length's over 1.5 UHL create clearance problems.

Are you sure you put the right pistons in the right hole?
