    Rear End Gear Help

I plan on racing on a 4/10 mile this season. I am used to racing a FWD car where I dont have to worry about a rear end gear. I will be running a truck class and was wondering what is a good gear to run with a stock 350 engine hooked up to a 700R4 transmission.

I also plan on going to a .538 mile track as well and was wondering how much gear change will i need to make to adjust for it. I know the rear end has a stock ratio of 3.73.

Any answer would be a guess. Gears can be way different at different tracks across the US. You're better off letting everyone know what track's you plan on running at and there is a good chance someone will be more than happy to give you a good idea of where you want to be.

    More info needed.
    What type of car?
    How much HP?
How many RPM's do you want to turn?
What is the rollout on your tires?

    Good Luck
