Headers

Need headers for 400ci sbc 4412 carb. There isn't any rules on choice. Dirt late model 1/4 mi. $400. Budget. 1-5/8-1-7/8 or triple step etc? Engine made 510HP on dyno with junk headers. Will this be adequate HP for a all steel 2bll class?

We have Speedwerx on my son's mod and they were a 30 HP improvement for the previous owner over his old headers. But they aren't $400.00. Don't be afraid of buying a quality used header to stay on budget.

510 real HP should do pretty good IMHO.
