    turning a scat crank

Ive got a scat 4340 crankshaft that came out of an engine i blew up. Is it worth sending it off to be checked out? or should i save myself the head ache and toss it? looking to build a decent 406 with it.

Not a fan of Scat cranks, got a "3 piece" Scat crank in the floor now...Anyhow, it depends on how the engine blew up, if it locked up and bent rods, I'd scrap it. If a valve dropped and beat up a piston, and the engine didn't lock down, I'd have it checked.
