Cam Selection

We run on asphalt, so take that for what it is worth. Anyone have any luck with this cam- Isky #201547..? Flat Tappet. SBC 400 Dart 215's. Super Victor Intake. 4412 Carb. Big tube headers. 13 to 1 compression. 3100 lb car. Suggestions?

Call Bullet, CamCraft Cams or Jones Cams… most of Isky's shelf cams are old technology.

Get a good set of Iron Lung headers and call a cam company like Jones/Camcraft. That isn't a good 2bbl grind IMO. The big tube header isn't going to do anything but hurt with the 2bbl IMO.

201547 is a good generic flat tappet we sell a lot of, easy on parts, not the best by far, for any application. Most any cam company can make what you want (wider lobe separation, shorter duration).TB
