If you change the baseplate on a vacuum secondary Holley, can you make it a mechanical ,or what is the difference? I know a guy that took off the vacuum valve and tigged up the linkage to make the back open just slightly after the primarys started to open and was wondering if this would really work, or if he is blowing smoke?
