Recommendation for Radiator Brand

New radiator for Southern Sport Mod.

Any recommendations on one particular brand of radiator over another? Don't know if the components on the build on one brand is better than the other.

Any opinions on the Pro-Tek line?

I like the Northern's... they are popular around here and are priced right. I'm sure others are about the same... most are Chi-Com anyway.

I run FSR for years now and no problems.

Afco's have a taller flange on top and bottom making it easier to bolt a shroud to.I've used several brands with no problems.

Have had 2 Northerns in 11 years. Only reason for second was I launched my car into orbit and on the landing curled it under the car. They take a beating and are very reliable! As said before they are priced well too.

i ran a Howe,it got ruined, bought an Allstar,and it doesnt cool so well...so going to get my Howe repaired...temps with Howe were 200 with no fan, temps with Allstar were 220-230 with the fan on

Afco for off the shelf, FSR if you want a custom radiator.

When you say northern are you referring to ones sold by northern auto parts.
