Brezezinski is a good source for that information. This is from their website."We have been working with the Chevy “Open Chamber” heads for years. If your rules require the use of “open chamber” heads, the ‘441, ‘487 & ‘993 heads work the best. While these heads are not available new from Chevrolet we have a good supply. We can also modify your open chamber heads."

The 993's are popular here in classes where the 487's are not. Can u run an EQ stock replacement head?

I would say run a Ford but if they are strict on the 72CC rule then you could only run a Cleveland.
