usra stock car, which motor option?

I'm going to usra stock car this year and i was wondering what all of your opinions would be on motor option.

1:sbc 423ci with dart 200cc intake runners at 11.2:1 and the 500cfm holley

    2:sbc 358ci with eq heads at 10.5:1 and a 750cfm 4bbl holley?

half of the tracks I race on are super tacky and the other super dry slick, whats your opions?

Both will work fine. I've won with both a 406 2bbl motor and a 360 with a 4bbl in USRA.

Thanks for the quick response. Would you say you preferred one over the other? And if so in what track conditions? I'm just trying to figure out all of the pros and cons.

Do they specify which EQ head. We snookered them in my area when they didnt specify a part #. We used the CH305. Our motor made 512hp with a Holley 3310.

The big CI motors had more torque which was good on a smaller tighter track that is tacky. The 360 is nice on a 1/2 mile. It pulls hard and doesn't fall off like a 2bbl motor.
