    Intake question

We are in the middle of building a new Street stock engine and the rules allow four different intakes. An Edelbrock 2101, 2116, 5001 or a Weiand 7547-1. In the Torkers (5001) description, it says it will not cover port openings on a Bowtie head which is what we are planning to run. Does anyone know if this is an issue with the Wieand? Thanks in advance for your help!!

If you can run the Vortec intake 2116 then I would assume you are allowed to run Vortec heads. If so then you can not make anywhere close to the same power with any one of those other intake manifolds. The stock Vortec head beats Bowtie heads even. If this is a 2 barrel deal then the Vortec's are even more advantageous.
