    Direct drive powerglide?

Hello.. I have a internal valve body bump start setup.. works in this order.. park. Reverse. Neutral. Low. drive.
How it's been working is I can put the shifter into neutral or low then use the bump start (clutch pedal) other will go forward.. well the question is the reverse is no longer reverse.. it's now a forward gear when I hit the bump.. any ideas anyone? Thanks for your time.. dave

I am not 100% sure, but I think the bump start is only to be used if you are trying to "push start" your engine if the battery is weak or starter is bad. It applies the clutch band that is used for forward movement.

I assume the valve body took a chit.. the direct lock up gear is now a bump start use only.. revs in all gears.. use bump start to make it go in all gears forward.. I have no lock up..
