My buddy bought a almost new sport mod motor .... After a few runs the harmonic balancer came lose ? .....He said it was a 2 piece ? something about the rubbr was gone .... Is there any reason for concern or something to check ? He said its just a cheap $ 50 part that failed & replacing it with one piece ....

ATI is the only damper to bolt to a motor.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool. -

Stock style dampers come apart like that sometimes.I've replaced them with stock ones and went back to racing.BHJ makes good balancers also.If you have a lightweight crank it needs an ATIComment
