2006 Dodge Ram 4.6 won't start, just clicks. Replaced battery, replaced starter and relay. Put a lead from the battery to the starter to eliminate cable problem. Engine is not seized, turned it at the crank. All other electronics work, no aftermarket draining devices added to truck.

Have you tried jumping the sol.? I had an older dodge that once in a while wouldn't start and I'd jump the solenoid and it would be fine for a month or to...just a thought...

Is it one click or a series of clicks (like a flutter)? Either way you say you have " proven" the positive side by running the jumper you should do the same for the ground side . Also be sure your jumpers are a big enough gauge wire to carry the current .Originally posted by Team Steele Racing View Post2006 Dodge Ram 4.6 won't start, just clicks. Slide a Chevy under it, too funny! I'm not stuck to one brand of truck, my next truck will be a diesel for sure but right now is not the time. I'll try the ground wire idea and post with updates if I get anywhere. Thanks
