The 2016 ARCA champion drove open wheel cars prior to getting a ride with Cunningham Motorsports. any generic dirt late model drivers making NASCAR wtf............LOL!!

Since Kyle Larson got to NASCAR both Christopher Bell and Rico Abreu have gotten full time NASCAR rides. I wouldn't be surprised if Tanner Thorson is the next great dirt open wheel driver to make the transition to NASCAR. He's definitely got the talent.

Roger Ward (not a NASCAR guy but a pretty fair career, nonetheless), Curtis Turner, Fred Lorenzen, Bobby Allison, Bennie Parsons, Darrel Waltrip, Kyle Petty, Davey Allison, Tim Richmond, Kenny Schrader, Ernie Irvan, Kenny Irwin Jr., Adam Petty, Ron Hornaday, Michael Waltrip, Jeremy Mayfield, Ryan Newman, Kyle Busch, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Trevor Bayne, Chase Elliott and Christopher Bell have all went on to pretty fair NASCAR careers from ARCA. Most had successful Cup careers. Remember, Bell took a generic dirt late model driver to school at Eldora back in 2015.

You wouldn't know the difference between a Cup car and an ARCA car if they both ran you down and run over your illiterate ass. LOL!!

I'll ask again, is there any generic dirt late model drivers who have gone on to successful Cup careers? Hmmmmmmm!! LOL @ you!!!

litey, you quite possibly could be the the most proficient dumba$$ ever to post on 4M, or anywhere else for that matter!! LOL!

its not on their bucket list and a blind man could tell the difference between a cup and a A new ARCA What cup race did Bell or Abreu and most of those guys you mentioned ran both ARCA AND SAME SAME TIME chase Elliot is about exception but then again he is a Elliot he didn't take hijm to school the dirt late model never drove a tank that was shaped like a truck before but whats really sad they both whipped up on the NASCAR posers which begs the question does NASCAR really have the best talen or the biggest pocket books I THINK WE KNOW THE ANSWER

Its obvious if Larson or any of the open wheel drivers wanted to make any "REAL" money, not the pennies sprint cars pay, they have to go to stock cars... heck, the mud taxis pay better then the sprint cars.... probably some of the hobby stocks do too...

We raced at Monet, Wheatland and I-80 in Ne and the pit passes were 30 to 40 bucks a head... average for big shows I think... and its enough to keep the rif raf out....

The mud taxi's had better pay somewhat better than the wingless sprinters, midgets and Silver Crown cars. Mud taxi's are a dead end division unlike wingless dirt open wheel cars with little chance of making it to the big time.

Win the World or the Dream or Knoxville mud taxi shows and people like you and your sidekick litey pay attention. Win The Chili Bowl and the whole racing community pays attention and often the winner gets a NASCAR ride, reference Rico Abreu (Timmy McCreadie as well), the most recent winner to go on to a full time NASCAR ride.
