    WVMS-Spark of life or?

Heard the other day that the infamous narrow tunnel under the interstate was being redone. Checked with a friend and he said that the tunnel was starting to deteriorate to the point that I-77 was in jeopardy. State of West Virginia stepped in and made emergency repairs. I was hoping that the Tony Stewart, Dale Jr. rumors of trying to buy the place were bearing fruit but don't sound like that's the deal. Can't understand why someone couldn't take the measurements off of a great half mile track and duplicate it here. Love the benched hillside seating. Have always seen good crowds there whenever they used to do stuff there. There are a lot of dirt racing fans in the Ohio Valley.

Had to shake my head at the guy doing body piercings at a dirt track, but, hey, to each his own.

Wish that place would come back to life.

I am for any and all positive news for dirt tracks. Best form of racing in the world. I hope Stewart keeps spending and spending for the cause of dirt track racing. He might purchase more tracks after he retires from Nascar. Hated by many, but never been a bigger investor in furthering the sport.
