    Tires

    I was talking to a guy who works at florence speedway last weekend .... He ask me if I had any ideal how many used tires were left in the pits after the North/South race ....He said some only had a few laps on them ..... Any one care to guess how many ....

        96 Tires .... I thought that was alot when you figure $ 120 - each ....

          Those left were probably competition tires which cost more than what you stated.

            Back when our regional series allowed UMP tires, it was not uncommon for our team to get 75-100 free tires at Volusia. Most still had the tits on them!

            We marked them which team we got them from. You would be surprised what some of the top tier teams were doing!

              I watched the hammer man load up a boatload of used tires to take back home with him from volusuia a couple years back........true Brewster baker racing right there, love those guys.
