Are you saying that ultra conservatives take away rights? Do we have any judge that would stop gay marriage? Or just defend the right of a priest to not do such a marriage against their beliefs.

I dont know that "take rights away" is the right terminology. Thats a whole different can of worms about "god given right" born-to-rights or what have you. I'll say that I feel ultra conservatives wont support certain freedoms or liberties that I think folks should have.

So the Bible does not quite make marriage clear? Sorry but, maybe living together should be the choice, not defying the Bible. Of which would at least end the legal issue of the definition of marriage.
