I rarely post on tailgate , but after reading this thread and watching all those idiots this week end disrespect our flag , I,m done watching them myself , one of the big whigs with the NFL was on TV earlier today trying to explain that it was a protest against cops and not veterans , now isn't that a fine excuse ,

It never happened where I raced.If you were working on your car and didn't hear it start,someone would let you know and you stopped then.2 minutes to stop what you are doing,STAND your @ss up and RESPECT the flag of the greatest country on earth isn't a whole lot to ask in honor of all the men and women that served this country.

There is too much work to do between hot laps and the heats to not work on the cars during opening ceremonies.

I understand what your trying to say. But if trying to make last minute changes or forgot to do something like fueling the car I can see you doing that as the anthem is being played. But if your one of these over priced punks that are 'protesting' over something trendy. Then you have no excuse and should have your a$$ packed up and going home. The NBA will be the same way when it starts. But I dont watch it so Im good with it. I like college sports... their trying to make it to the next level.
