NASCAR's RCR Is Teaming Up With USAC For Driver Developement

Looks like one team is wising up to the fact that dirt open wheel drivers often make a successful transition to NASCAR. Richard Childress Racing has teamed up with Dooling-Hayward Racing for a NASCAR driver development program.

Brady Bacon will drive the full USAC National Sprint Car schedule for DHM/RCR #63 wingless 410 sprintcar. Tanner Thorson, who left a plumb ride for Keith Kunz, will run a limited midget schedule driving DHM/RCR #63 midget.

I'm thinking that with Rusty Kunz turning the wrench's this team will be a formidable competitor this coming season!

RCR has also teamed with Petty for a return to Chevy's in 2018.
